It is really early in the morning and I am half awake. The house is silent and all of the old ghosts of the house are sleeping.
The reason I say ghosts is this house is old and is a maze of 22 rooms. The floors are creaky to a fault with the occasional random door opening. It is a lot of fun for an old house. There is a pool located in the backyard and at the edge of the property an old barn. Much of the house is add-ons to the original house. The original house was a small farm house. Slowly the house was built up, out to the sides, down and a apartment for the mother-in-law. Hide-in-seek games are long and without a doubt fun for adults and children alike. All in all this house is like a living growing piece of history.
There is a legend of the house as well. But that is another road to follow …

The old house, having four sets of stairs that creak under the weight of even a cat, makes enough noise to dispel any ghosts that would think of haunting it. Their role has already been filled.

Ah but the house was rumored to have a body hidden in the walls when we bought the thing.
